The biggest issue here isn skill or availability of game or wild edibles, but simply time.
Even the most proficient hunters, trappers, or foragers can ply their
craft AND knock out big mile walking days at the same time.
No matter how good you are at skinning and cooking a rabbit,
it can be done while keeping a 3mph pace like eating a power bar can..

answers, it is something about this game that makes it a little different than other RPGs:
There is no "leveling" based on experience. The leveling process, which is really just picking up new skills (and advanced skills) is all currency driven. There is
a bit of a grind in the early game to simply make money so that you can go

Cons I don use the interior velcro shelves, and the metallic rolltop is cool,
but unecessary. They tend to get really floppy
and won sit properly on your shoulders/back. I have a 22L and it the perfect size for me.I can speak to those specific packs,
but they are all reputable brands and if you
really get into hiking you likely end up with a number
of different packs anyway!I had my fair share of packs,
mostly for backpacking, but I just picked up a Deuter Speed
Lite 24 and it absolutely perfect. 30 35 L is a little more
suitable, in my opinion, for UL backpacking or winter trips when you carrying
